Ernest Gonzales at Limelight

Ernest Gonzales back in 2011 for SaTxMusic.. I literally had 10 minutes to get a photo of Ernest before he went on stage at the LimeLight on North St. Mary’s St.  Looking around and wanting to do something a little different, I noticed a taco truck and used it as a prop. When pressed for time, you have to use the resources around you. Camera was a Nikon D700 with a Nikkor 28mm f/1.4 lens.  Using a fast lens in low light allows me to isolate the subject from the background.  I like the 28mm lens because it gives the viewer a sense of being in the scene.  Although it looks like a snap shot, it was a carefully composed photo.
