Texas UIL Basketball

Brennan player DeShawn Key goes after the ball during a game against the Clemens Buffaloes. When covering basketball, my equipment consists of a 300mm f/2.8 and a 200mm f/2.0. The 300mm lens is for action at the far end of the court and the 200mm is for the close basket. Photos of the game can be purchased here.

Brennan Bear DeShawn Key (center) fights to control the ball while surrounded by Devin Kearns (L) and Frank Harris (R) of the Clemens Buffaloes  .  When covering basketball, my equipment consists of a 300mm f/2.8 and a 200mm f/2.0. The 300mm lens is for action at the far end of the court and the 200mm is for closer to the basket, though sometimes I will use the 300mm for an extreme closeup.   My position is always the same – sitting on the floor at one end of the court.  I like the view of looking up to the players, no matter what their stature is.  Photos of the game can be purchased here.
