    Lester worked for the University of Texas Health Science Center for 30 years, earning a reputation for being a hard working, client-friendly, and service-oriented photographer. In 2009, he was awarded the UTHSC's Employee Excellence in Service Award.

This is a good example of the reward you’ll get when you step out of your comfort zone. Previously, I was taking photos of the finish line which is located in the shade. But, by moving around the track I came upon this beautiful late afternoon sun. Shade is easy to photograph in, the light is soft and non-directional. Using the sun is tricky because it’s always changing.  Images from the event can be found here and here.

San Antonio Fire and Team Crush playing in the Excel Tournaments’ Spring Break Invitational on March 16th.  I’m always amazed by the quality of players at this tournament.  If your child played in this tournament, you can view  the galleries by clicking here.  I should have all the galleries posted by March 20th.

Joe Louis Gonzales (Lanier Voks) and Zach Ford (Alamo Heights Mules) collide while going for the ball during the Texas UIL Regional Quarter Final basketball game. Lanier took an early lead in the game, but Alamo Heights reigned supreme in the second half and won the game 34-50.
