Dark Hollow Waterfalls

Dark Hollow waterfalls at Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. The hike to the falls is only 3/4 of a mile off the road so I thought it would be an easy hike, but it was a little challenging than I anticipated. Going up wasn’t a piece of cake either. Either way, the effort was definitely worth the experience. Yes, there were a lot of people there, but I was nice and waited my turn then quickly moved away so others could enjoy the falls. There are several falls in the same area, so take your time and explore. I took advantage of the Nikon D750 tilt screen to get the tripod very low. I was in a very tight spot, so there wasn’t the option of laying down. I used the Manfrotto BeFree tripod to steady the camera. This tripod fits comfortably inside the ThinkTank Airport Antidote v2.0 and isn’t very heavy. Nikon D750 with Sigma 15mm lens. Settings: 1/2 sec, f/22, ISO 50.
